Replaced Denon 3805 with Yamaha RX-3080, Listening Bliss

HI Fellow Forum Members:

I am still working on replacing things in the studio, but recently I decided to replace the Denon downstairs with an updated Yamaha Thanks to ADTG for being able to scare up a new 3080 for me Thus far I am really happy with this device. It was mostly overkill for this room, but I will eventually grow into its capabilities. The system downstairs is just a basic 5.1 at the moment and it still sounds pretty good. Looking forward to updating the upstairs system as well, very soon, Andrew!

Glad you're happy. More curious how you worded the thread title....you were not having any bliss with the Denon? What's your new system with the 3080 going to consist of/comprise?

Dan, I just noticed something funny.

You replaced your Denon 3805 with the Yamaha 3080.

I replaced my Denon 5308 with the Yamaha 3080.

3805 and 5308 are the same 4 numbers in different orders.
