From the picture it looks like there is a lip around the perimeter of the baffle. Not sure what else to say besides try to pull it off.

They can be carefully pried off. I recommend that you leave them on, as it protects the speakers from damage. There would be a lot fewer speakers with pushed in centers if people would follow this advice.

Yes. I have the 1.1 for the PC :) wire grill will spring off with paper clip thru corner holes.. have to squeeze them to replace. You will see, no big deal.
