Sure, you can get a philips all in one with an lcd touchscreen or a sony for that matter that can handle a multitude of remotes and macros. Go to ecost.com for refurb units by with mfg.

There are dozens of high end remotes. Home Theater Master, Harmony, Pronto, etc. I use and prefer the HTM remotes (MX-500 currently). It all comes down to your own preference (hard-button vs lcd vs combination hard-button and lcd) and preferred button layout.

Most all of them can replace all of your original remotes. With my MX-500, I have finally achieved the goal of ONE remote to control every single function of every device I own.

If you are not familiar with these kinds of remotes, I would suggest http://www.remotecentral.com for reviews - they do rather in-depth reviews and can give you a good idea of what to expect from each.

I also have the HomeTheaterMaster MX-500. I have 6 separate remotes (STB, HDTV, AVR, DVD, DVI switcher, and Roku media interface) all integrated into this one device. It has an excellent "learn" function that has never failed to accept comands from the various remotes. I have been able to create single button macro sequences for "TV on" or "DVD on" for my tech-challenged wife. I am told it now goes for less than $100--a real steal. I prefer its combination of lcd and tactile buttons as opposed to the "pure" lcd remotes.

Mx-500

I have owned mine for over a year now and I still think it is by far the best for the money.

WHat a great buy!

I received it yesterday, learned my tv, vcr and a/v with the codes and it learned my DVD (EVERY SINGLE BUTTON). The wife was a bit upset when she found out I paid 60.00 for a remote but soon the WAF raised through the roof with the DVD on macro ( yes anonymous I copied your button labeling :) ).
