Sony, Philips Pronto, Harmony, etc. It depends on your price range, the level of sophistocation you want in a unit, and the level of programming sophistocation you have (or are willing to pay for). Remote Central is the best source that I've found for files, feedback and info. Happy hunting.

Swizzle44, before you buy you should ask your self if RF is important. If you ever plan on putting your equipment in a closet then you should think about how you are going to setup the remote to deal with that. I just went from the older Neo Pronto (mostly all touch screen) to the Harmony (with RF). I miss the customization I had with the Neo but the rest of the family likes the Harmony allot better. Most of the women that have used my older remote (NEO) had issues with their nails and getting the touch button to react. Though I love the whole touch screen thing its not worth hearing years of complaining, believe me.
Oh and John I ran spell check so you dont get your panties in a bunch ;)

Thank you Tsunamii...but I didn't think ex-military were prone to having sugar in their blood.;) Where I come from, only females and wannabees wear "panties."

Enough of the personal attacks/comments. I fully explained my previous statements, and even though I stand by them, I apologized, and even asked for forgiveness in my earlier post. If this is unsatisfactory to you, I suggest we post w/o any further inter-communiques. Let it go. By the way, excellent job on the lack of typos, misspellings, run-ons and syntax errors. Peace.

Hey John, It’s not an attack it’s a comment and the last I checked that is what forums are for. The last time I didn’t run spell check you were all over me and I had never even spoke to you before. So let’s not spin who does the attacking. It doesn’t seem like you are used to people dishing it back after you have served it. You lost me on your sugar comment though I am sure it is witty, in some circles.
