Remote for Denon 3806 Zone 2

I would like to find a remote that I can dedicate to Zone 2 use with my Ddenon 3806 receiver. I also need to control the Zone 2 functions out of sight of the receiver IR sensor, which means I need an RF remote or an IR remote with an IR repeater. Denon makes an IR repeater for the 3806 (and other models), but it (plus another Denon 3806 remote) is pretty pricey. Will any RF universal remote work, or do I need to get a second 3806 remote and a repeater?

Thanks for the reply. I will check out the MX-600-that would also give me remote capability without the need for line-of-sight connectivity. I like the functionality of the 3806 remote (except for the button display membrane, which is somewhat dim and hard to read when used outside), but I would like to have a second remote that I can take out to the patio while still have remote control capability in the main zone. The scenario that keeps popping up is: my wife is watching TV and needs to control the volume, channel, etc, while I am on the patio listening to an FM station or a CD. It would be really nice to be able to control the 2 zones simultaneously with 2 different remotes. I also heard about a remote called the Dolphin that is apparently made for use in spas and pools, and it has RF remote capability. I will be checking that one out as well, since it it designed specifically for outdoor use.
