Just got a universal remote (Sony RM-VL600) and it's working really well so far, (other than the fact that Harmon Kardon has a separate button their remote for 'on' and 'off') but I will have challenge hooking up a separate amp with no remote.
I have an HK3480 with a switched 120V oulet but they recommend it is only for low current draw items under 100 watts like CD players etc. NOT I assume for a 150 w/channel amp.
What options are there for controlling a separate amp with a remote? Amp is ATI AT1502.
Thanks
