Remote Control help

I was wondering, I have a URC RF20 remote, and my TV doesn't have very user friendly inputs, aka, to change inputs you have to go, TVAV, to a menu, up or down to select your input, and it always starts on the current input. Is there a good way to make a macro to go to the right input for a specific source. My Onkyo has discrete keys for every input, which is quite nice, but the TV is a bit lacking as far as I can tell. The TV is a Magnavox DLP if that helps.

On my TV, when I open up the input menu, I can either scroll up or down to get to the input that I want, or I can push a number to directly select an input. Does your TV allow you to pick an input directly from the menu by pushing a number? If so, a macro should be possible.
