Okay yup said" 2ft apart in auto cal. Did a full reset on marantz sr5012. So let it do its thing. First I don't mind the flat eq after running the auto cal. Better then the auto cal sounded. That seems fine. Got the distance within a couple inches for each speaker. Leveled all speakers within 2 db from my calibrated umm-6 mic except the center channel is a lovely -11db down hahahah! So I must have a good reflection! Oh some audio unexplained thing going on. That's okay though the calibrated mic reads it fine for center seating position just like when i used auto cal with the auto set. lol. Oh well. So i think everywhere thing is good and really about the same as before the reset. I am really liking these klipsch rp-160. I can't decided if I should pickup the klipsch RF-82 II's Or go with another pair of RP-160m's for the surround sound setup of replacing the JBL S26's I know they're towers vs bookshelf so may sound a little different but the sound stage is really impressive on these RP-160's I can get. I can get the RF-82 II's for $475. They have a Cerametallic woofer where as the RP-160m's have a copper spun. I wonder what the difference is? I can also pick up a pair of R-28's that're also in great shape for $400. I think all the speakers I have listed are all 98db sensitive. Or close to each other. Heck maybe i'll buy both R28's and RF-82 II and put them all around the room!!! What you guys think?
