Recording from a Bell 6400 Receiver, down the Rabbit hole I go!

Hi everyone...if I'm in the wrong area, my apologies, I can repost.

Here is my setup:

Bell 6400 Satellite Receiver with HD
Denon AVR-X3600H 9.2CH 4K AV Receiver with 3D Audio and Heos Built-in
Toshiba Flatscreen TV
Panasonic DP-UB9000 HDR 4K UHD Blu-ray Player

So all I want to do is record the saved shows from my Bell 6400 Receiver. I cant just yank the USB external HD out and plop it in my laptop, everything is encrypted.

I purchased a Magewell USB Capture device, and decided to try and give it a shot.
I hooked a highspeed/ultra HDMI cable direct from the Receiver to the capture device, but there is only video not audio.
I escalated the issue to Magewell Techsupport. After many emails back and forth, it seems my 6400 Sat receiver only does PCM audio, not LPCM audio.

Is there a device out there that I can plug in to my Satellite Receiver output that will convert the PCM to LPCM?
I'm looking at this device, but not sure if it will do what I need:

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.

I tried plugging the capture to the output of the Denon, but things only got worse. Not only did I not have any audio, I also had no video. I didn't muck with this option, I just switched it back. I'm not sure if I can get this way to work without more 3rd party HW.

Thank you!

No matter what you'll need a PC and a capture card of some sort. I did this many years ago with a Hauppauge Colossus pcie capture device and it worked well.

They have an external version called an HD-PVR that also works well.
