HUMMM...or that...
LOL... just call me "Captain Obvious". The sad truth is I really don't know whether they advertise here or not.

I just made the quick assumption based on the fact that I couldn't think of any other valid reason they'd be omitted from the list.(except for my assumption)

Sure...

I think I remember a Para add popping up on the right side every now and again. It says "voted best speaker for the past 2000 year" or something like that.

Here is the reason Paradigm and many other reputive manufacturers are not on the list-

Clint DeBoer said:
Listed below are companies who we feel produce quality products based on our personal testing, engineering evaluation, and experience. Audioholics Staff have gone through exhaustive testing procedures to ensure products from these companies reliably perform as advertised and represent a good value to the customer.

Note: This is a working list and will grow as we review more hardware to determine if they meet the "Audioholics Seal of Approval".
BIC, which advertises on this site, is not on the list. It is probably only because they haven't reviewed them yet.;)

I might not recall correctly, but I think I saw something once that Paradigm will only offer review samples to those they advertise with.

So they have, but not a good review none the less.:D

The BIC DV-62 had disappointing build quality. Drivers were flush mounted, low quality binding posts, no internal bracing, less than adequate poly fill, and visible seams in the finish contributed to its last place finish.
The review for their sound was not great either, it really only scored as "loud" speaker with good bass, no pun intended.

Probably why BIC is not recommended?

so how do I get paradigm to have a review done? I saw a thread about request of what brands to review but I am wondering if there is any other way

Thanks Nick!

Paradigm did very well in that review. I wish audioholics would review some of their newer stuff. I was just kindof confused why I didn't see it on the "recommended list" when I see them mentioned a fairly good amount on here.

you wanna know why?

There used to be quite a good write up here on AH with the Studio 40 in a shoot out with some other speakers. I think the Paradigm was the pick of the litter if memory serves.

Found it.

Why is Paradigm not a Recommended Manufacturer? Just wondering if anyone knew why it was not on the list... Thanks
check the link Nick posted, it is of the Studio 40.
now go to Paradigm's website, look at this Studio 60 review.
http://www.paradigm.com/Website/SiteReferenceProduct/RReviews/Reference/Audioholics/Audioholics_St60v2.pdf

surprise. surprise. it's the same review with all the references to the studio 40 replaced with studio 60.

I think it's just because they are a$sholes. No matter how much better the studio 20's were, I refuse to buy something from a company that have $hithole ethics. that's just my principle. after that discovery of mine, all of a sudden when I look at all the paradigm/anthem reviews, I can't imagine what the hell kind of tampering they did.

Actually, I think Paradigm is going to be having us do reviews soon. We couldn't really recommend them before because we didn't get to hear them.
I will be looking forward to those reviews!! (and your answer to the post above...)

That is f'n low. Seriously... I was aware that I couldn't trust their reviews because all you hear is that X speaker "sounded like a speaker twice the price" crap, but this one really tops the list!

Therefore, I only come here to enjoy what you guys have to say and to see pictures of your systems and keep up with the new products. I learned a lot of information... but none from reviews that is!!

Gosh, I'm no legal expert, but I can't believe a big Company like Paradigm would take an article and change it to suit their needs?! I would love to hear what Clint thinks in that regard.........
