Recommendations on Best Bang for Buck HT Upgrade

General question...is it better to under power higher quality speakers (keeping the V675 and getting higher quality Front L/R speakers that you've linked above) or to over power lower quality speakers?

Why do you think its Under Powered?

Speakers need Clean, Consistent Power.

How are the similarly priced Klipsch speakers to the ones you referenced above? Only reason I ask is because Best Buy deals in Klipsch, which I'd be able to pay and pickup....vs order online and wait for shipment sight unseen.

Is the Klipsch Reference Premier series a mass marketed, over priced speaker vs better bang for the buck SVS, Polk, Infinity speakers suggested above?

Some Klipsch speakers are better than others, even within the reference premiere series. The RP-8000F is pretty good, but some of the others have shown pretty iffy performance in terms of fidelity. I would be hesitant about buying any outside of the RP-8000F.

I'm not a Fan of the Klipsch sound. IMO the SVS and the Polk LSiM's are probably the Best Floorstanders w/ sound quality, and w/ performance within your Budget.
Now I know with a Center Channel you'll go over Budget slightly. And I could recommend some great speakers w/ Center Channel included for your Budget. But I think its worth getting the Best Left and Right main speakers you could afford.

Plus they both Look Great in their Finish
