I'm beginner/novice (be kind) looking for in-wall speakers for my dining room (13ftx14ft 8ft ceilings) that won't break my wallet but still sound good enough for background music during dinner, etc. and that won't be a pain to install either. I have installed in-wall wiring before, but only for speak connections/cat5e.
I'm hoping to spend less than $280/pair but might be able to go over that if need be.
To be connected to:
- Yamaha HTR-5990 Receiver 980W (140Wx7)
- Yamaha DVD-C750 DVD/SACD (brand new)
- JVC XL-V311 old CD player
Speakers I currently own:
Bose AM4, Bose Model 100 and Bose AM16 (regretting this purchase - hence why I'm asking here).
