Recommendation on Preamps & Amps

Prior to researching & auditioning preamps & amps to power a pair of either Paradigm Studio 100 or B&W 703 main speakers, I would really appreciate your recommendations on specific preamps & amps. I will be assembling a 2-channel system for music listening only. Thank you.

Yeah, I recommend buying the Acurus RL-11 Stereo Preamp for about $400 and the Acurus A250 Stereo Amp (250 wpc @ 8 ohms, 300 wpc @ 4 ohms) for about $300 on ebay.

Extremely Clean & Neutral sound IMO.

For the preamp i always reccomend a used Mcintosh unit for several reasons,best build quality anywhere,dead silent controls,black background & the best tone/loudness controls of any preamp ive ever used.

A budget would be helpfull,also what are your listening tastes & what kind of volume levels will you be listening at.
