I have listened to some dipole/bipole speakers (can't remember the exact brand at the moment). Anyway, on movies they are awesome, really awesome; but if you are going to be listening to music in surround sound I would opt for non-dipole/bipole rear speakers. The dipole speakers are not near as accurate when it comes to music listening, but if movies are your main concern then definately go with the dipole/bipole speakers, you will not regret it.

Depending on how much you listen to music vs. HT you could always set both up. That receiver is a multi-zone receiver and if your room is such that you're able to set up both direct-firing and bipoles/dipoles....you may want to do that.....just exploring your posibilities.:)

I dont think I explained that very well....what I mean is, you could set up your room for music with 5.1 direct firing rears and 5.1 HT with dipole rears.:D
