Hey guys, I've a question here that needs answering
I'm a completely beginner 'audiophyte' looking to piece together an oldie but goodie 2.1 or 2 setup.
The dillema is such: I'm looking at a pair of SOUND DYNAMICS R 818 (if you have ANY comments on these, good or bad, i need to hear them
!!!), used of course. Can't find any reviews on these. All im told is that they are 200w max in (175w music).
Now powering these is a question... since it's next to impossible to find an affordable 2+ channel receiver that will push 175w/channel, is it possible to hook up one speaker to 2 channels (in parallel), to draw enough current ???
I realize in theory there shouldn't be any problem, but i want to make sure before committing to anything.
