I am trying to set up my Pioneer VSX-1020 receiver. I ran an HDMI from the cable box to HDMI #1 on receiver. Then I ran HDMI from HDMI-Out to HDMI #1 on my TV. I can get audio, but no picture. Do I need an optical digital cable too? I didn't think I did, since I'm using all HDMI connections.
This may be a stupid question, but I had to ask.

Funnily enough, the optical cable does not transport any video. That is only a reference to the transmission method. HDMI only should be fine.

Must be a setting in your receiver or TV somewhere.
