The Thule, not "Thules", is a processor only and just two years ago retailed for around $2400. You would need to add an amplifier to that processor to allow it to function as a reciever would, costing you twice as much money.

The Vincent is pretty scant on features. It only has 3 RCA inputs, 3 digital inputs, and a 7 channel input. It doesn't have pre-outs so it is not expandable. It doesn't have very many surround features, and it has no tuner. It aparantly has a very powerfull amplifier, but all things considered an Outlaw Pre/pro and amplifier would be a much more formidable combination.

If you want something under $1000 I would get the Outlaw surround receiver.

This one has a very powerfull amplifier. Don't let the 75 watts per channel fool you, because it is all channels driven. And If you ever need to upgrade the power you can use the pre-outs to add another amplifier.

Thank you for your quick reply. Sorry for calling the "thules".

Thank you for your recommendation but I live in Spain and I think I will not be able to find Outlaw Audio here.

About Vincent, I understand your point. If I cannot add new component in the future maybe it is better choose a different option. I am thinkg as a good option Marantz SR 6001 and Nad T753.

Either of those would be excellent, though I would rather have the Outlaw myself. Outlaw doesn't sell anywhere but over the internet. You may be able to order online. Look on Outlaw's website and find out to be sure. The only way you can get an Outlaw is to order it from the site or get a used one from a private seller.

I can get the Thule with a good price, but I don't have money more the amp. Then, and to sum up:

1. Thule AV100
2. Marantz SR5001 or SR6001
3. Nad T753
4. HK AVR340

Thanks

Well if you don't have money for an amp the Thule isn't going to do much for you.

Marantz is very good as is NAD, so any of those would work fine. NAD is probably better for handling lower ohms.

I would not advice the Harman Kardon, they have some quality control problems.

Did you find if Outlaw ships to Spain?

Yes, they don't ship to Spain.

I am closing the circle and I am between Marantz 6001 and NAd T753. I will try to listen them today. I am worried about if Marantz can manage well the Dyns (4 ohms). In case there is not problem I think I will buy Marantz.

Oh, I didn't realize they where 4 ohms. There is another thread around here about the Marantz 7001 and it only goes down to 6 ohms. I think you better go with the NAD, they can handle the 4 ohm load for sure.

My experience with Marantz is that you'll lose a lot if you try to run 4ohm speakers with them. YMMV of course.

Sorry for the off topic, but what does "YMMV" stand for?

I have been asking for receivers and curretly the best option is Yamaha RX 1700. It manages 4ohms speakers and has pre-outputs which can let me add an amo in the future and takes all the power of the loudspeakers. The other option is Denon 2807 which looks very similar.

The recommendation I had today for Marantz was "At least the SR8001"

Finally I am between Yamaha RX 1700 (1000€) an Marantz SR7001 (1200€). Large difference. Do you think it is recommnded pay 200€ more for the Marantz?

Humm
4Ohm speakers .
Do you have a Europe Audiogone .
Maybe be look at used Pre/Pro . The Yammy is gonna have difficulties , with all channels drivin at 4 ohms . It is only rated to do 2 channel at 4 ohms ( if i recall ) . Im not sure of the Marantz , but i know there higher end stuff might do it . I mightbe wrong about this :) ) .

I just (briefly) looked up the manual for the Marantz; I don't think it will handle 4 ohms. I could be wrong though.

I have asked about Marantz and they should manage 4ohms speakers. It is not the most suitable receiver for this purpose but all receivers that can do it are at price of 2000$ (in europe).

I have to buy a new one and today because it is a gift so I will not be able to buy through internet or a used one.

If you don't push the Dynaudios to hard you should be okay. The harder/louder you play them, the hotter the receiver will get. BTW, I have always found Yamaha receivers to run hotter anyway.

Have you considered going the separates route? An independent amplifier can output significantly more power than the built in amp in most receivers, and that translates into better sound. Parasound makes some very good amps for the money.
