Trying to remove my membership. Anyone know how to do this?

If that is what my threat was, GET IT DONE NOW!

I WANT NO PART OF A PLACE THAT SUPPORTS SUCH NAME CALLING, AND HAS MODS SENDING PRIVATE MESSAGE THREATS!

Curious what you mean by "threat"??? I don't like the thought of that either.

Seriously fellas... if you've been around the internet even a little bit, this is mild stuff. I don't see names being called or anybody acting overly childish. Skin can thin quickly sometimes, but to get worked up is just crazy.

Now, go clean your room and supper will be ready in a few. I want you to think about what you did and how much God hates you for it.

Adwilk, I sent Zumbo a PM about his claims of sales people shilling in this thread. It wasn't even a threat. It was a request to backup the claim or move on. I did warn him to either provide proof or be quiet about it. The warning was not to continue with the 'There are shills in the threads'.

I'm not airing any more laundry than that. If I keep getting pushed on the matter there are going to be some cooling of heels.

receiver for 90% music for less than $700??
I'm looking to purchase a receiver for 85-90% music in my workout room that is less than $700, and was looking for some suggestions
Once I found out it was for a pair of bookshelf speakers, and a sub, I recommended this.

RR2150 Stereo Receiver

Which is supported by this:
I 100% believe there will be a speaker replacement, along with a receiver replacement. So think about this.

Do you want to invest in speakers now, and run them off of an inferior receiver?
I would not want to do this due to the possibility of sending a clipped signal to my new speakers from the inferior receiver.

Do you want to invest in a new receiver now, and have the possibility of overpowering your current speakers that you know will be replaced in the future?
I would prefer this route. The more powerful receiver will be better for your current speakers because it will have less of a chance of sending a clipped signal to them. No chance of this being a wasted purchase.
Which leads to why I never recommended this:
MB-Quart-QLS530 Special!

Now, I would never recommend such fine speakers be connected to an inferior receiver. But, get the receiver first, and then add the Quarts. Figure that along with his existing sub, and there is NOTHING stupid about that. That is, if that sub is all the members of AH claim it is. I don't know if it is, or not. So, I would never claim it is.

Not once, did someone offer another receiver option. Why? Because I gave the best receiver option in the first place!

+1

This one has outlived it's usefulness.

Original poster: If your questions haven't been answered to your satisfaction, you might be better off starting a new thread to pick up where this one left off. Rethink and restate your questions and expectations and give it another go.

And you don't believe there are members here strategically placed to sell those items?

You seem like a very rational guy. This has to make sense to you.

And from your post, you have been sold internet garbage that members here recommended.
Constantly Audioholic members change the person posting from wanting to replace one thing, to somehow convincing them to buy a completely different item. Then, of coarse, that item is an internet only product the new member has never heard of. Next thing you know, you got another member on the bandwagon.

It's called salesmen being placed in a forum to SELL. Others are just members that jumped on the bandwagon.

This was the perfect chance to sell to someone that would be blown away by any new set of speakers once they arrive, due to the fact his are just about inferior to any out there.

It only takes reading the thread over, and thinking about motives behind what you are reading.

I, along with many, am an enthusiast. I enjoy the hobby. Certainly don't enjoy the bashing that was done in this thread.

It's done.
