receiver choices??

HI; 1st time posting to any forum.would appreciate opinions as to choice of receiver..started with panasonic 50" plasma,then 6 klipsch in wall speakers,, now need ,receiver & sub woofer.. have in mind "pioneer elite vsx-72txv" or "yamaha rx-2600" completely open to any suggestions. I'm thinking around 300 watt for a sub woofer, perhaps "outlaw audio LFM1" looking forward to any help anyone could offer.. wyrguy

Welcome to the forum.

The Elite is a great receiver. A friend just purchased the 74 and loves it. Lots of flexibility, and pairs up nicely with his Elite plasma and Elite dvd player.

Depending on your budget and size constraints, you may want to check out some of the SVS subs. Top rated for the money.
