I agree with WaynePflughaupt, power amps should be turned off first and turned on last. If there are active crossovers, then it is probably better to wait a little longer after the power amp is turn off, before you turn off the crossovers and the 6010.

You're saying I should get up out of my la-z-boy, walk to the components, bend over, open the cabinet door, turn off the amp, close the door, straighten back up with some effort, walk back to the remote, then turn off the AVR?

Really? It seems my amp may be in trouble.
No, you just need to get one of those APC units that lets you set sequence and time between. ;) :D
