Really Boring Stuff Only III: Resurrection

You know who really has some Floyd stories? Walter, the guy who gave me the record player and Pulse album. He's been to I bet more than a dozen shows. I've been to one. I just saw signs of life from him on Facebook.

In more boring news, the snow. I started off with the shovel around 4 PM but decided to try starting the snow blower before too long. It had been sitting since God knows when and the first dozen pulls produced no love. But there was a gas can right there. I mean I had tried using it on some wet snow the year before I guess but the details ... well, I don't remember the details. It's my niece's house but I've been "the man" around here for a couple of years.

Anyway, it worked. And the snow was the right kind, soft and fluffy, to be moved by the blower. Even so, it was a bitch. The machine is not meant for tall people. My back, my knees, my shoulder ... ugh. Never mind all that, my heart! I'm pretty sure the only reason I didn't die out there was because I didn't want to step over into eternity with the last thing I hear is SWMBO saying "I told you not to over-do it! You never listen to me! Look at you now!"
YOU’RE STILL ALIVE?

Is additional aero treatment.

I thought that was illegal? It is heavy enough to damage a car behind you.

I got me an iPhone 17 and managed to download a Smarthome app to control my dehumidifier. It took some doing. I'll tell you that for free. I didn't think my dehumidifier was working right but now I think it's just due to low indoor humidity: 14% according to Accuweather.

All the weight that mysteriously melted off me has returned. I keep thinking about how I gotta diet until I get hungry. No meal is over until I can't eat another bite and I hate myself.

One last thought. The way this no smoking thing has been working is that every so often I think to myself, "I wish I could smoke something". Then the very next thought is , "Thank God I don't smoke". It's been over a year since I gave up on the Game Leaf cigars and since sometime before Christmas since I last had weed. I lost my last dube that was in one of those black plastic tubes. I think it might have gotten blown into the wood pike by wind. Anyway I can probably pass a drug test. So what do I find in one of my eye glass cases? Two dubes. Not gonna do it though. I may actually need to pass a drug test in the near future.

That's enough boredom.

Do you specially have a reason to keep your humidity that low? Home humidity should normally be kept between 30 and 50%. If you have expensive wood furniture, dry air can damage them.

Because of a defective hygrometer, I once kept humidity low in my apartment. That situation unglued some woofer suspensions which needed repair and of course replacement of hygrometer. :)

It's not me keeping it that low. It's what the reported indoor humidity just is according to an online weather site called Accuweather. The cause is that rude Canadian air. Today's number is 8% with 'dangerously low' written beside the number. It's somewhere between -4 and 0 degrees F depending on what's right between my car, my phone and my computer. Effing freezing in layman's terms.

I have speakers that I don't want damaged fo sho. Gonna boil some water or something to bring that number up.

Thanks for the head's up on that! :)
