Lol yeah I agree with you completely, I was just tying it all back in to home theater. And having seen Rush twice, granted I'm not old enough to have seen them in their prime, but I greatly prefer watching them with quality sound reproduction at home!

Speaking of which, I've recently been enjoying a pair of Focal Solo6 Be's. Never heard a speaker that can so accurately put 3 instruments, that are basically soloing the whole time, on such an equal and expansive sound stage. And they are near field monitors playing outside their means, my room isn't huge, but the seating distance is about 11'. I now very much have a taste for beryllium.

And yes I have a healthy kidney I can spare!
I've only heard Be tweeters in one model, but it was awhile ago and the environment wasn't great.

I had considered using Be tweeters in my new project, but had thought they'd be out of my price range. However, trans. lab has some Be tweeters for around $250 each in matched pairs. Not cheap, but cheaper than RAAL's. Plus they have the sensitivity I'm looking for, so they might be option after all.

I've not heard ribbon or AMT yet, or at least not in any memorable way. But RAAL especially can go beyond even Scanspeak beryllium prices!

But the important point here, my wife could hear the difference too. And wants it!

My war on rats continues. Caught 2 more last night. That makes 7 total, so far.

In other news, I'm up to 411 CD'S ripped. Just 150-ish more to go.

You may go back to your regularly scheduled boredom.

My review for the tomahawk. Hey, you came here to be bored. :D

Someone already used the zombie angle...so I had to go another way.
All that talk about swinging hard ... outside where people can see you.

Luckily for Amazon, I was too lazy to sign in. :)

And I even changed some wording to make it less like that. :) It's tough, man...all that talk about holding wood, swinging an ax, and the piercing tip...

And BTW, I hope you don't accidentally stab yourself with that thing. Thats worse than a double edged sword!

You had me at, "pulled out my package".

"I pulled out my package and prepared myself for all sorts of bad-a**ery. Ten minutes later after I finally got the plastic case apart, feeling slightly emasculated but still geared up, I once again prepared myself."

Haven't we all at one time or another prepared ourselves for more emasculation? :D

Don't be jealous, but I can now scratch "snorting ground turkey" off my bucket list.
