I only watched one complete game from the World Hockey Championship - the gold medal game this afternoon, where Canada pounded the Russians 6-1.:)

Oh, and congratulations to the US team for winning bronze...

So since the boring thread has dropped to page 3 I'll do the only prudent thing and keep boring y'all with my heavily repetitive and boring life. The property management company still has yet to get back to me. They said I'd probably know by yesterday, then e-mailed yesterday and said probably today. Dunno if that bodes well or poorly for me.

Got word from John that the majority of the pieces for my Testarossa kit will be shipping today. The rest to follow by end of week next week. Not a big deal since I ain't got no time right now anyways.

I'm already lining up a project for after the Testarossa's that Mr. Paul K. is helping me with that could possibly involve some AE woofers. All this talk about GranteedEV had me looking through his build thread and remembering how much I liked those AE woofers. If the Paul K. reference didn't catch, they'll be in some massive TL's.

Yes, this also means that I am continuing to avoid the NaO Note II RS project like the plague.

Carry on. :D

3 Hours and nothing. Oh well, I guess it's back to me again. Heard back, got the place. Time to start packing since it'll probably take a month to pack up all our crap.

Good job, YAA. If the boredom dies ...

I know a moron. I can't spend anymore time thinking about said moron ... unless it's to figure out how to avoid said moron. It's like the zombie apocalypse of imbeciles.

It wouldn't be so hard if you didn't have all those speakers.

Do you have a link for the Testarossa kit? I was curious to see its crossover schematic, but couldn't find the kit at Meniscus audio.

There's only 10 pairs of speakers (2 unassembled), 5 subwoofers, 8 amplifiers, 1 processor, 1 receiver, 2 BD players, 2-64" TV's, 1-46" TV, projector, screen and assorted other electronics. Plus racks, stands, and a couple miles of speaker wire. Plus.........you know.......all our other stuff.:D

I can shoot you the schematic via e-mail. None of the RAAL 70-20XR kits that Jeff has done for Meniscus are on the website. They are inquiry only right now. There's the TMM floorstanding (Testarossa), the TM (Auricle), and the MTM (Imperial). All with RAAL 70-20XR tweeters and Satori woofers and all two ways.

Speaking of boring things. My company paid for some IT training for me. Bear in mind it's not a MS Office, but sometimes pretty advanced stuff. So by itself it is boring to death, but to add an injury to insult the trainer is from Atlanta and says Yo about once a minute. Honestly a redneck IT trainer? What's next a cowboy Cryptoanalysts?

That sucks, but so does renting. The up side to NOT moving is you wont have to pack up all those speakers, and you wont have to replace those faucets and shower heads too.

Screw them. I freaking hate people with no integrity. If they said that you got the place, then they should have stood by that. You could have already gotten out of your lease for all they knew.

Who knows, maybe there was some miscommunication between myself, the property management guy, and the owners. Puts us in a bit of a bind, but I think we're going to roll the dice and sign the papers saying we're not coming back and just keep trying to get a place by July 1st. We've got a few more applications out so we'll see.

Tally HO!!!

In the process of harvesting some stacked up Cherry at Eddie's. In the real world it would be too weird to say but this is some good lookin' wood. It's 9-1/2"x15/16" and rough as f^%& with knots here and there but culling the pile produced the lengths I could use ... just realized I could use one more piece ... plus I need sand paper. Last PT is on for today.

YAA, GLWM.

Adazon, welcome back.

Nothing, nothing at all... Actually I'm not sure what bothers me more - his Cotton Joe "Yo"ing or his advanced age. I give him one thing - he's got plenty of experience, but I also expect trainer to be up to date with all matters related to his expertise...

Dude, that sucks. Have you considered looking outside of your comfort zone? Maybe a 10-15 mile drive to work rather than 5-10? Or a more rural area? Some times further outside of the 'city' equals less rent?
Good luck man.

I would literally kill someone to have same level/price home with 15 mile drive to work.
I commute 40 miles each way
