I purchased some IXIO subwoofer cables and I am having nothing but problems with the connects. When I go back to cheap cables I have no problems. I have tightened the connector and it works until there is some bass to rattle it lose again.

Any suggestions?

I've never heard of IXIO. Maybe I'm just out of the loop. How expensive were these cables?

There really is no reason to use a fancy subwoofer cable. As long as you weren't getting a hum with your old one, I would go back to using that.

I use RG-6 cable and RCA adapters. It works like a charm.

Yes, stay with those cheaper RCA cables:D If you can return those others, do so, or, use it where the plug fits better without refitting the outer ring.
