RBH MC-6 vs. MS AW151 vs. Axiom W2

I'm down to these three for in-walls. I've heard RBH, Mordaunt-Short, and Axiom speakers, but never their in-wall offerings. I know the wall itself will affect the sound and I do plan to use enclosures (Axioms already have it). Anyone out there heard any or all of these?

Are the prices between those three around the same?

I should have mentioned that. I can get a pair of the MC-6's for around $300; the MS around $400; and Axiom (with custom wood) around $600.

The MC-6 don't come with an enclosure right? I read on another forum that you can order an enclosure for cheap though. I would probably just go for the cheapest since it's mostly gonna be used for mostly movies right?

Actually, it'll be for music in another room. I'll likely add an x-sub or something.

I went with the RBH as I got a pair of MC-6's and a MCS-88 (in-wall subwoofer) for $280 shipped. Can't beat that.

I've also been looking for some inwalls, but for kitchen. If that deal is available to the general public please let me know.
Thanks!

I didn't want to leave this hanging. My original source doesn't really have a good deal on RBH anymore, but I did find another source.

They also sell on Agon. I saw a few negative comments about these guys on another forum, but I have to say I have nothing bad to say about them. Shipping was fast, prices were good, and service was pleasant. I won a pair of MC-6 inwalls for $149 and a matching MC-616 for $99. I received the MC-6's yesterday and they were well packed and in mint condition. They did ship the wrong center speaker to me; they sent the MC-616C. No big deal really as they're already correcting the issue and it's completely understandable. I could have said nothing as I think the MC-616C is worth more anyways. I don't think they have anymore RBH stuff ATM, but keep an eye on them as they have some good deals.

So I now basically have a 5.1 RBH MC Series inwall system for around $530. This includes the dual 8" inwall passive sub. Can't beat that!

Thanks for getting back to us on this thread.
Personally I went a similar route and got a good deal on some infinity inwalls. It was from the harmon-kardon ebay store so they came with full warranty which is nice.
They are going in the kitchen for some background music/npr so not too picky about these.

That may be a good deal on the price of those RBH speakers but remember, RBH will not warranty speakers purchased from an unauthorized dealer.

I ended up paying full price for some SpeakerCrafts.

True, but for the price, I'm willing to chance it. I doubt all the speakers would need warranty work so if one fails, I'll simply replace it. It still costs less overall.
