I have found I can just read what I enjoyor not read whatI don't enjoy. If I have an opinion or information that can be helpful, then I try to be helpful.

But you are correct, some questions have been asked and answered before. If it were a perfect world and if seacrch engines could find exactly what a person was looking for the life would be great.

Seriously, though - does your amp have a mechanical power switch so that it would turn on if you plugged it in? You could use a power console with a trigger (as one idea). My Belkin power console has that feature.

LOL. That remote will cost a lot of money. I've looked at remote power switches, but am concerned about cutting the power of my amp off.

All I remember is that you needed a Japanese pull saw that Amazon happened to have. (I hit the wrong button and my PM's went 'poof'.) Oddly enough I just bought one at a pawn shop today along with a few other goodies for ridiculously low prices.

You are becoming the AH resident expert on certain subjects...Tom Jones, for instance. I mean, nobody else here will even admit to knowing Tom Jones never mind owning his albums making you the resident expert by default. When you're done with Tom Jones, you can beef up your knowledge of Bobby Vinton (who is appearing in concert here soon if you want to do some first hand research).

I have no AH pet peeves but I find I can't make it to the end of LOTR's posts.

I know what you mean, I appreciate life lot more now. Whole new attitude. Early August I was in the hospital for 4 days the first in MICU ( Medical Intensive Care Unit) . Had internal bleeding and lost 40% of my blood.

I kinda amp pissed I got a pro-amp now. I just don't like having to push the power off and on. Maybe you have a workaround for me Swerd.

I think I'm going to go plate amp for my sub now. I can't stand not being able to have an auto on/off feature.

Your APC doesn't have triggered receptacles? They have some models that have this. Furman does, too. I know of a few smaller units that are independent of the power conditioner but I'll have to wait until tomorrow to find the model numbers.
