Watching Hurricane Katrina documentary again on National Geographic. I saw again the thing I read in a book. The FEMA director basically checked out via his assistant or someone with a text message about needing more than 20-30 minutes to eat cause he was waiting in line at a restaurant. His assistant back then and during this docu that was made recently is reading this poop from a paper saying I guess I can make time for you after eating my MRE, crapping in the hallway of the Superdome, and maybe removing the pebbles that jab me as I try to get some sleep on the ground. I can remember Bush saying he was doing a good job for the cameras. Brown would resign within a week LOL.
Oh jeez the part mentioned rescue helicopters were heading to rich areas and bypassing the poor. Unreal.
Guy says on this roof he's going to test the theory. Get all the black people outta sight and have the whites in wheelchairs up there. Within 15 minutes helicopters came he says.
I remember watching Spike Lee's docu on Katrina. Think of what you like on him, but give him an unjust cause and oh boy. SMH.
