Seriously, I have no life.
Here is an article in today's Star Tribune on the late Jerry Raskin.

He succumbed to cancer. This explains the sudden closing of Needle Doctor in 2019.

I did business at Needle Doctor I think from my earliest time in ND. He had a real "dive" of a shop in Dinkytown, Minneapolis. This is very much the student quarter. He was very knowledgeable in matters of audio and of course turntables. He store was always stocked with well chosen items to suit all budgets. He always maintained a very friendly and well educated staff. All were eager to discuss all matters audio. Needle Doctor always was a dealer for SME. Jerry like I am, was always a great enthusiast of SME arms and later turntables. We both agreed that SME arms have always been the very best since inception. We both had a love of elegant design and superb craftsmanship of Alastair Robertson-Aikman.

He kept a limited inventory of speakers, but never did he stock a "dog" of a speaker.

In the digital age he built up a world wide online business, which eventually outgrew the space in Dinkytown, and he moved out to St. Louis Park.

I will forever miss the Needle Doctor.
