Hi.
I am very impressed with the results of the Audessy Android App for my Denon AVR-X3800h.
I turned Midrange Compensation, Dynamic Volume, & Dynamic EQ OFF
The Before Curves were extremely jagged, but the AFTER curves were smooth.
I have 3 questions: (Please forgive my poor photography skill in the following pics.)
1. All the AFTER Curves were smooth, but there was a slight dip in the Right Height Curve as shown in the attached "Dip Right Height2" jpg. Is this a big deal ? Should I try to edit this or just leave it alone ?
2. I don't understand the High Frequency Roll Off pics in the attached "High Freq Roll Off2" pics. I don't see any scale, so where does this Roll Off sit ? Is this for ALL the speakers ? Why are there Two High Frequency Roll Offs? Should I try to compensate for this, and if so, how?
3. I did not use a 500hz curtain. Does the 500hz Curtain block out the 0 - 500hz correction, or block out 500hz - 20khz ?? Attached "Sub Curve2" is a pic of the Audessy BEFORE & AFTER Curves for my sub. Based on the Sub AFTER Curve, should I bother using a 500hz Curtain?
Thanks,
M....
