Question Yamaha DSP-AX757SE & video/audio sender

Perhaps a bit of a dumb question, but looking for some advice.

In my TV room I have all my sources terminating their connections (audio & visual) on the Yammy AV Amp. I connect to a Panny Plasma via a single Component cable.

I've decided to stick a small LCD screen in another room and want to send video/audio to the other room too.

Cat 5 is outta the question (concrete walls/floors), not sure about a video sender either, lots of wifi and other interference, so want to use Home Plugs (already use to connect my TiVo to my router).

I've managed to find a Component to CAT5 converter , so I can pipe the Video output of the Amp to the other room, but I don't know how to get whatever is selected as the current audio source to the sender?

I was looking at using the pre-out L + R jacks to feed the sender, but the Yammy manual says you should only use these if you DON'T have the speaker terminals connected.

Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions from their own experience?

Cheers, dp

For future reference, it is called an Audio/Video receiver. It "receives" input from multiple sources and is basically the heart of your sound system.

You don't say ...

Got any more pearls of wisdom?

The Yammy has pre-out jacks, generally used to drive another Amp or the Sub Woofer. What I was asking is whether I could use those pre-outs to send the current selected audio input to the video audio sender.

By the way, thanks for such a helpful post.
