Question regarding speakers and RCA input (for a filming project).

(Hopefully this is in the right forum, apologies in advance if it's not. :()

I'm in the process of building a set to shoot an online series. In short, the videos utilize greenscreen technology to make it look like the people it's filming are being reflected off of a television screen. The show is like a Mystery Science Theater for video games, and I'm having a little bit of trouble setting up the electronics.

EDIT: I'm sorry for having to dodge your post requirement system but this is the only way I could try and get the same picture in both of our heads.

Basically here is what the set looks like:

The problem here is that I realize that the camera being used to record the cast and their commentary will ALSO be picking up interference sound from the television (game audio). This will make syncing the audio from the commentary extremely difficult because the computer recording the game output will also have that same game audio. This will also prevent me from being able to "space out" the commentary throughout the drier parts of the video.

To combat this, I came up with the idea of getting an A/V video distribution amplifier:

The console would plug into the "input" on the amp, then the amp's outputs would go to a television, a computer, and an audio system sitting behind the cast. The TV would be muted so it would still show video, while the audio is coming from somewhere else. The main overall problem here is I don't know anything about setting up a speaker system. I have some speakers I salvaged from an old stereo but they have the + and - leads on them and not the RCA cables that the rest of the things have. Would it be possible to use these speakers somehow with a special adapter or some other plug? If so where might I find one of these?

I also saw this thing while searching for some information online:
http:/ /amazon.com/RCA-WSP150-900-Wireless-Speakers/dp/B00000J0D8
Would this work instead of me having to find special plugs?

Thanks a lot in advance.
- J.

EDIT: Oh I just realized I'd have no way of controlling the speaker's volume levels. :(

I don't entirely follow, but something came to mind. If you are going to overlay the gaming audio and the conversation after the fact, could you just have the people wear earpieces? That way, they could hear the gaming audio that they were supposed to be making comments about, but your camera wouldn't pick up on that audio.

Just a thought.

BTW, welcome to the forum!

I think you are missing an audio mixer and amps between the mixer and speakers. Your post is complex, but I sense that is your problem.
