QUestion regarding accentuation and flatness

Hello.

I know that this question may sound weird, but I really would like some help with this.

I have a pair of computer speakers which claims to not accentuate bass and treble frequencies nor to make them sound more colourful. They sound kind of flat, like studio monitors.

Is it possible to somehow use software to make them accentuate or sound colourful?

All audio players, iTunes, WinAmp, Windows Media Player, etc. have built in graphic equalizers that you can call up via the menu options and let you tweak the frequecy response. It is advisable to use the equalizer only to reduce amplitude, not boost it.

Smoke'em if you got'em.
