I've been reading too many confusing things on the net. So I figured I'd better post my question here and get a straight answer.
I'm wanting to add some protection to my system in the form of a power conditioner or protector. A year back my out garage was struck by lightning and the surge travelled up the underground power line to the house and ruined a lot of stuff. So I'm leary of just plugging my new LCD TV, Blu-ray and old receiver into the wall with out something to protect them.
I am looking at Belkin's PureAV PF31 and/or Panamax's M8-HT-PRO. I know these are two distinct types of protection and would like to know which would better suit. Also, does anyone know if the Belkin has LAN cable sockets/protection?
Thanks.
E.
