Well looking through my garage I found another receiver, just my luck though its a friggin Insignia!! Anyway its the 600 Watt 6.1 receiver. Its gotta be an upgrade to what I had soooo.... I am thinking of packaging up my old Insignia home theatre system and taking it back (I don't think I have the receipt, but its about 1 1/2 months old and I still have all the packaging and boxes.). They should take it back right? Then I have about $450 to spend on some nice front speakers. Does that sound like a good plan? Thanks for the input guys.

If you bought it after Nov 1st you have until Jan 31st to return stuff (extended return policy). Wait didn't you say you already have $400 in store credit so returning the insignia would put you at over $500. With over $500 I would definitely look into the SM450's.

Yea I am gonna check those out at the store and see how they sound. Gus my friend has the Polk R50 front speakers.. they sound great and get real loud too.. Frys.com has them on sale for $59 a pop ($120 for the pair) Polk's website lists them at $650. My friend got them from Frys and it all worked out fine. Do you think it is a good buy or good quality speakers? I would of course be looking at those to be my upgraded frontal speakers down the road.
