Hi!
I just registered on this forum, and I hope you forum natives could help me with some info :)

I got this Sony FH-414 system. And that little device has this wonderful feature, "Super Acoustic TURBO" (SAT).
So, when SAT button is activated sound gains soooo much richness in bass. I dunno what it does, maybe creates harmonics not higher than original sound but lower. And it has these ingenious little speakers with subwoofer holes. When SAT option is turned on, subwoofer holes send massive waves of air in and out, like a wind. No, a tornado :)!
I love this device! It is about 17 years old and not in very good condition.

My point here is, did anyone hear about the SAT feature and if so, does it have equivalent in today world? I am sure it is impossible that SAT is discarded just like that as this is really one hell of ecstasy inducing sound effect!!
Also, does Sony still produce these powerful little speakers with wonderful frequency range and sound quality?

It's bass boost aka Loudness or Selective Tone (Onkyo).
