i have bass shakers for the couch and what i wanted to do was run both the bass shakers and use my headphones at the same time but whenever i plug in my headphones the speakers automatically shuts off, how can i keep the low pass for the bass going with headphones on?

What AVR do you have? In most cases, by design, when you plug in the headphones the other speakers are muted/shut-off. You might have to connect you headphones a different way than the audio headphone jack.

Seriously, I have no life.
What happens when you connect your speakers to the B terminals and plug the headphones in?
