Question about Paradigm Studio 60

I have a quick question about the Paradigm Studio 60's. It's probably related to my limited understanding of home theater concepts at this point. Anyway here goes. I am interested in purchasing a pair of the 60's for almost exclusively home theater listening set up. I found a used pair of the v4's in great condition. After researching them I found they had the two 7" woofers instead of the three 5 1/2" woofers the v5 have. I guess I'm just wondering if the 7" woofers are too much to use in a home theater setup with a good sub. Seems like they would be too focused on providing the lows that the sub is taking on and be lacking in the mids. I'm sure this is a dumb question but thanks for taking it easy on me lol.

No worries.
Both the V4 & V5 have 5 1/2" drivers and both have a
Frequency response: 45Hz–22kHz

Just for the record, 7" would be more ideal.

V3's have a 7" driver. Seems like the V4 - V5 have better bass; at least on paper.
V3 Frequency responses: 46Hz-22kHz, ±2dB

I'd go with the V4 Over the V5 60. I had V40s for my fronts which I replaced with V5 100s last year.I tested the V5 60s and did't think they were that great. Now I use the 40s for surounds a CC-590 center & system souns great.

I think either would work. Everything else being equal, generally smaller woofers tend to image better than larger ones. You'd need to be careful about setting the crossover point on your center channel as well as the other speakers. You want to make sure that there is not a significant overlap with your subwoofer. Otherwise, you may experience muddiness in the bass.
