Question about Canadian brands

Athena and Energy were essentially the same company, though the Athena line was discontinued and rolled into Energy.

Sorry Dude, but Athena came into the fold much later and were designed for budget minded customers which sold at B&M shops. Both the Energy and Mirage brands were exclusive to high end shop and with the Klipsch merger that all changed overnight. Although API was the parent company each division had their own design & engineering teams that shared ideas but that is where the similarities ended.

Well, Bob was born in Montreal, which will make "Carver The Amazing Loudspeaker" a Canadian native origin speaker, after all.
