I was wondering whether anybody could give me a personal opinion on two cables. I have an Akai amplified with Mission 753 speakers (that can be bi-wired). I need long cables (6m for each speaker) and I have a budget of £50. I could have for that price QED Original Bi-Wire MKII Speaker Cable or QED Silver Anniversary Speaker cable (not bi-wire). I know that the Silver Anniversary is a better cable but the original are biwired. My question is therefore: which one would sound better? The original biwire or the silver non biwire? Many thanks if you can assist

Biwiring will not benefit you enough to spend the money to do it.

As jgarcia indicated. But, if you want to try it, buy some inexpensive 14ga wire, whatever that specs to over there:D
Here, you can buy it for about $.30/ft, so 6m would be about $6US, 3 of your pound:D 2 runs to each speaker, is 12 pounds.:D

Bi-wiring is more marketing that reality and while there is proof that bi-wiring does affect things hitting the speaker, it has not once been shown that there is any audible difference by doing this.

Instead, as said above, simply pick up a couple pairs of standard 14... or even 12 gauge speaker wiring from almost any shop for a much more realistic price. Save your cash for something that actually will make a difference and take the sales pitches you have heard on audio quality due to cabling and throw them away. You have far better ways to spend your money.
