Pyramid Metronome Model 7s

Hi,

I have a pair of these that I purchased at M&K audio in Beverly Hills, circa 1980.

They are/were/will-be awesome for their size, I have them paired with an M&K subwoofer, love it.

The 5 inch drivers need to be replaced, looking to this forum for guidance - Thoughts?

Looking for references or recommendations for some 5 inch drivers that may work well with these classics

Hard to know without more info. Unlikely you could just pick a 5" driver and pop it in there without considering the t/s parameters of the original, I took a brief look around and found very little on this speaker, out a handful of search responses your post was one of them It seems the same design was marketed under a few different names, tho I didn't chase any down. I would suggest pulling the 5" and see it has some sort of part number so you could google it. Perhaps someone may have on available?
Or, even the whole speaker may be available out there?
Or, time to buy a new speaker? Or, gamble on a 5" driver?
