PSB Stratus

Has anyone listin to these or own any of these speakers , there is a pair in my area for $300 CDN , considering them for my bedroom . Any reviews or opinions on there sound .

Uh, what is the model. Stratus is a series that has been reinvented a few times over the years by Stratus, without the model we can't tell you anything about the speakers.

I have a pair of SilverI towers. The speakers sound clean and detailed. They seem to lack bass, though, even when using a sub. I have room issues that are probably contributing to the problem. I'm not sure if I would buy them again if I were starting from scratch; but I'm fairly pleased with them.

I presume they are Stratus Minis--but there have been a couple of iterations. How old are they. You might also look at the picture in the Stereophile review to see if it looks like the New Stratus Minis (circa 1996 and later).

We have a pair of the new Stratus Minis and we use them in the family room for HT. They are quite a worthy speaker and even can work reasonably well in my main system. They have excellent bass for a mini-monitor and also work well in the near field.

Considering that there are now speakers in the Image series (such as the Image B25) which are more recently designed, I suggest you try some hard bargaining, and try to get them for less.

There the tower model , they are before they went to the gold , silver and bronze . 1 - 8 inch woofer and a dome tweeter . Thats all i know .
