About the same, just slightly more squiggly. What we hear is actually better represented by a 1/6th graph, but I like to use 1/12th for the most detail while smoothing very slight irregularities that don't need wasted eq. Makes it easier to see a region that is actually big enough to merit some eq. I use unsmoothed when placing and adjusting phase and distance, but for eq purposes I use 1/12th. You don't want to apply eq to an exremely sharp little dip or peak that you cannot hear.
