Greetings Holics!

I have a ps3 in my Theater Room for the kids to play games on, and for me to watch Netflix & Cinema One. I'm thinking of buying another Sony player for my Family Room; question: Should I upgrade to a PS4, or buy another PS3? I was thinking I'd give them the PS4 to use, & I'd scoop the 3; thing is, they are older now & use the player infrequently. Further, are there any other options machine-wise for watching Netflix & Cinema One? The TV in the family room is older, so I reckon an option would be to upgrade to a new TV - one that can utilize streamed data...

P.S.: The kids won't be gaming in the Family Room.

Thanks in advance...

Regards,
Dan

For a gaming system for them, I'd go with the PS4 at this point and move the PS3 to the main room. For just a streaming device, possibly a Roku3 or even just one of the current model Blu-ray players as pretty much every one of them has at least Netflix now. I've found that the PS3 tends to be a better streamer than many of the ones in stand alone players or TVs right now mainly because it can buffer far better, but my Roku2 also did fine and does 5.1 via HDMI as well. The Roku2 has issues with certain apps (Amazon Prime), but Netflix always worked fine for me.
