PS3 1080p 24hz through denon 2310ci?

Is there a way to get it to display through my Denon 2310? My TV supports 1080p 24Hz but when i change the setting to on in my PS3 i get no display

Whats the model of TV you have? When you say "you have no display" does that mean that the TV just goes blank after you select 24p on the PS3?
