I need to get PS2 games for Christmas gifts for a couple of kids. Where to get the best deals? I want to give new, just not to be cheezy.

RC 2002 maybe?

Give Amazon a try, I just picked up 1 new PS1 and 2 PS2 games there.

Sometimes Gamespot will also have them.

I second the Amazon route. Most ship free freight if you can wait a few days for it. I enjoyed the PS/3 Ratchet & Clank games so much that I went back and bought a few of the old PS/2 versions. Tons of fun.

I have only been addicted to handful of video games in my life, but Hot Shots iii and 4 (fore) were a couple of them. Everything I know about golf, I learned from those games, hehe. My only reservation is that it would be seem kind of strange I guess with the whole Tiger thing going on. It's fun to talk smack to opponents right as they are about to swing. Characters are a wacky bunch, and one, or maybe two of them, might say something with sexual innuendo (like of the Asian females would say, "what's your favorite finger?", and something else, but, she was the rarity).

Anywaaaayyss . . . it's $9.54 at the zon (doh, looks like different vendor at Amazon).

I was very addicted to those games, lol, some years ago, borrowing the PS2. I killed it. :D

RC 2002 is 106.88 on Amazon. That is insane.

Even 45.99 is insane.

I am a huge Amazon fan. However, their prices for all of the items I have purchased in the past has more than doubled.
Hey Zumbo-

You don't just look at the first price you see in bold.

Simply put, you can have it new for ~$45 if you go further than the first page you get to - but remember every year there are few and fewer new available, unless re-published - so you can pay for it now or pay even more later.

If your willing to put up with used, you can get it for less than $15 - I have gotten some great deals that way like new for perhaps 1/10th the cost of new, and I have never had a problem with them running.
