Mint condition bought as NOS just 2 months ago. Weighs 120 pounds and is as delicate, powerful and accurate as any amp made. Truly a reference piece with original double box. Will not disappoint. Priced below Bluebook. $2150.

The Proceed AMP 5 accepts both balanced and unbalanced signals, changeable by the flip of a switch. The AMP 5 include five separate power supplies as opposed to sharing one or two power supplies across all five channels. This makes for a much more stable high end amplifier. The AMP 5 regulates its power using the same technology that is found in the nearly $20,000 Mark Levinson No. 33H power amplifiers.
More importantly, the tonality of the amp is so much like a Mark Levinson amp that at $5000, a home theater enthusiast must consider this a high-end bargain.
This is Tom Norton of Stereophiles reference multichannel amp.

Since this amp goes back to Madrigal`s ownership of Levinson, product support will be virtually non existant for an amp w/ no waranty. When they do offer service, their price commands the sale of one`s 1st born-at least.

I might be wrong, but my understanding is that Harman (parent company of Proceed and Levinson) just put up(and are maintaining) a service page for Proceed owners. I happen to own a Proceed PCD its never given me any problems, I bought it new back in 1991, out of curiosity I went to the Levinson site and they had posted a link for Proceed service, I never followed up so I'm not sure if its still there:) .

It's fully supported and service is reasonable. If Proceed was still around the amp would be $10,000 and I'd be asking $6000. I run all Proceed and have never ONCE had the remotest issue.
