hey guys im having problems with audio on hd channels i bought a new reciever its the samsung HW-C500 AV reciever system. its hooked up to bose speakers. my problem is since setting up this reciever on my hd channel i get the background music but i cant hear the people speak (for example i can hear the crack of a baseball bat, but no the announcers voice). i have a samsung LED 8000 series 55in. and my cablebox provider is time warner cable and my cable box is a samsung HMT-H3090. just to be clear this is only on hd channels.
thanks for all help

EDIT: fergot to mention that the cablebox is connected to the receiver via HDMI and and receiver to the tv also via HDMI.

do you have a center channel in the system? i'm guessing the problem is the center channel is enabled and you 1. dont have one installed, or 2. it is not hooked in right. HD channels are 5.1, so voice comes from the center and music and effects come from the l/r/sl/sr

if you are not using a center channel there is no need to worry, all you need to do is go into the speaker setup menu on your receiver and set the center channel to "NONE" this will run the center across the fronts. this can be done for any channels you dont have physically hooked up.

it needs to match the fronts, what fronts do you have? also, what sub do you have? keeping the bigger sub may be the best idea, small subs are bad ideas. big bass requires big subs, there just is no way around it.
