I purchased a used Panasonic SA-HE200 on ebay a ways back and have been having consistant problem with it. The right-front speaker starts to get a horrible staticy sound after the unit has been on for a while. It goes back to normal intermittantly with no appartent pattern. Also, last night I played a movie and the speakers went from normal to a loud, ear piercing sound that was almost like a CD skipping.

Here is my setup:
I have it running to my PC and hooked up with a digital connection from my sound card to the coax input on the reciever. My sound card is a turtle beach santa cruz. Initially I thought the problem could just be with the signal going from the PC to the receiver. I also tried hooking a discman up with an analog connection and had the same static sounding problem. Both of these connections using a 1/8" to dual rca splitter. I have an N64 hooked up also, but havent noticed any problems with that, but I dont usually play with the volume turned way up.

My thoughts were that one of the components on the board is maybe overheating. Does anybody else have any thoughts on this and/or know where I could get it looked at and maybe fixed cheap?
