Probably not worth it, but...

Hi folk,

First post here. Hello!

I have an old NAD 7125 receiver that just stopped one day. I immediately looked for the reset button, thinking a power surge had popped it, but there ain't one! I checked the manual to see if maybe there was a hidden reset button that could be accessed with a thin screw driver or something but no luck there either. So I suppose it's just something minor like the power supply.

It may not be worth fixing, but I'd at least like to figure out what's really wrong with it before sending it to the recyclers. Are there any on-line directions for disassembly or diagnosing?

Any hints gratefully received.

Rob, welcome to the forum!

I didn't do a large search on the internet for free service directions, but there certainly may be some. If you haven't already, just search for some and see what comes up.

If you don't mind spending $15, you can download the service manual for that unit here.

Good luck, and have fun!
