Pre-Processor with room EQ.

I'm looking to upgrade my trusty Outlaw 950 and am looking for a pre-amp, preferably $1500 or less, that has digital room eq capability. At least for the bass region where I have a couple of issues with my room.

I've read the Sherwood P-965 newer models have room eq, but have also heard there are issues with this. Anyone familiar with unit?

Other units that have this feature?

The yamaha 2500 has this feature, and a killer parametric eq. The Pre-outs are very good on this unit also. I doubt you are going to find anything as versatile and quality as the 25 or 2600 in that price range.
